Welcome to Alessi Jiu Jitsu in Chatham, New York! We are an up-and-coming Jiu Jitsu school that opens in January 2025. As we begin establishing our community, we want our focus to be on family. The roots of our community will be built on the backs of moms and dads, those working 9-5 jobs, and our kids’ classes. Everyone is welcome into our doors and will receive the most attention possible with plenty of one-on-one instruction. Family, self-defense, and personal growth will always come first for us at Alessi Jiu Jitsu!

We want to provide a one-of-a-kind experience for our students at Alessi Jiu Jitsu. While we strive to teach top-tier Jiu Jitsu, our #1 goal is building a family community! Founder Michael Alessi is making the school a true family operation, leading the way with his wife Merry as well as their children’s involvement. The Alessi’s are passionately cultivating a community where everyone is comfortable and can leave the stresses of life while learning alongside like-minded people. Simultaneously, our curriculum will center around traditional Jiu Jitsu while also following new trends. The blend of our all-around Jiu Jitsu and our family atmosphere makes Alessi Jiu Jitsu the best experience possible for all!
